Exquisite ingredients in this exceptional chai tea blend, such as organic black Assam tea, vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, and anise, help you find your balance. This chai tea is sweetened with organic powdered sugar made from raw cane sugar, agave syrup granules, and coconut blossom sugar.
In Ayurvedic teachings, Vata represents enthusiasm and a well-functioning circulatory system. These qualities promote Vata Chai.
Plaisir Chai teas are vegan, made from organically certified ingredients and contain no binders, gluten or other additives, without compromising on enjoyment.
Plaisir Chai can be easily prepared with hot water or hot/cold milk (then it's no longer vegan). We recommend 10-15 grams per cup. Simply add 2-3 heaped teaspoons or one heaped tablespoon of the chai tea powder to a cup, pour in the water, stir, and enjoy. Try it!
Please note: Our spiced teas are flavored with real spices, not artificial flavorings – therefore, some spices may settle at the bottom of the drink. If this bothers you, we recommend straining the tea before pouring.
The Plaisir Chai Teas
Our recipes focus on classic ingredients like ginger, cardamom, anise, cloves, cinnamon, black or green tea, and vanilla. We also avoid all additives and fillers. We hope you'll be as delighted with the taste as we are! Whether you enjoy the spicy Pitta Chai with ginger, anise, and cardamom, the Vata Chai with its delicate honey aroma and vanilla, or the Kapha Chai with organic matcha and guarana.
Our chai teas are named according to the basic Ayurvedic principles of Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
In Vata Chai, the principle of the same name:
The Vata dosha embodies the qualities of ether and air. Vata is responsible for our energy and movement, as well as nerve impulses. Breathing, speech, circulation, digestion – all these are expressions of Vata.
Character of the Vata type
People with a dominant Vata constitution are perceived as enthusiastic, lighthearted, and creative. They have a quick grasp of things and are open to new experiences. They are also active and enjoy being on the go. We appreciate their lightness of being, but not their forgetfulness.
Vata types love music and dance. They can relax well while listening to classical music, enjoy warm and gentle oil massages, and can lose themselves and the world around them. Generally, a cozy atmosphere and soft fabrics like silk, silk-wool blends, and cotton against their skin promote inner balance. The rooms they live in should radiate warmth and comfort. A comfortable armchair or sofa with a soft, fluffy blanket helps them relax quickly.
Their spontaneity sometimes leads people with a Vata constitution to impulsive, senseless spending. However, when Vata individuals live in balance, they remain vibrant, friendly, and creative throughout their lives. They have a strong connection to the spiritual realm, which is why meditation comes easily to them, provided they make the time for it.
