With the Grind Size Particle Analysis Tool, you receive a professional precision tool for the controlled analysis of the ground coffee from your coffee grinder. This tool allows you to accurately measure the particle size distribution of your coffee grounds – whether for espresso or filter coffee – thus providing a scientifically sound basis for calibrating grinders and adjusting them to different bean profiles.

Application:
Construction:
- Bottom position: Closed stainless steel disc
- Then: Perforated discs increasing in size from 0.2 mm to 1.6 mm
- Finally: Second closed disc on top as a lid
Fill quantity:
- Add approximately 4–7 g of freshly ground coffee (e.g., espresso or filter).
Occurrence:
- Hold the tool vertically, shake and tap gently for 2 minutes.
- Particles migrate through the sieve discs according to their size.
Evaluation:
- Unscrew the top and weigh the ground material collected on each level.
- Enter values in the chart (chart available for download)
Result: Accurate representation of the particle distribution
