Instructions for use:
- Pour coffee grounds into the portafilter.
- Apply the leveling tool with light pressure.
- Turn the tool 1-2 times – the coffee grounds will be evenly distributed.
- Then tamp and extract as usual.
Our leveling tool is made from solid stainless steel and high-quality walnut wood, making tamping/pressing easier and thus resulting in better extraction during brewing.
After the coffee has been ground or transferred to the portafilter, the leveling tool is attached and turned clockwise. This smooths the surface and distributes the coffee grounds evenly in the portafilter, preventing channeling. A smooth surface also makes it easier to tamp evenly.
