Barista Basic
The Barista Basic Seminar is aimed at anyone who wants to learn the art of barista skills or who already prepares coffee drinks daily and wants to expand their knowledge. Particular emphasis is placed on the practical application of knowledge. Participants learn everything from the correct preparation of various standard drinks to the proper grinder settings – the full range of basic knowledge that every good barista should have in their repertoire. The goal is to gain insight into the craft of a professional barista in all its facets, enabling participants to experience the pleasure of a perfect espresso or cappuccino at home.

Effects of coffee
The different types of machines
Mill and grind size
Basic information about milk
Calculation errors / analysis
Hygiene / Cleaning

Practical part:

Preparation methods and techniques
extraction
Dairy technology
Preparation of various coffee drinks, e.g.

Since 2026, we have offered two different locations for our seminars. The seminars take place in Echternach on Mondays starting at 2:00 PM and in Trier on Wednesdays starting at 7:00 PM.

Seminar guidelines:
Registration / Barista Seminar:
Registration creates an obligation to pay. The registration is valid unless cancelled by the organizer.

Participant:
Early registration is requested as the number of participants is limited. In the event of insufficient or excessive registration, the organizer reserves the right to offer an alternative date or to limit the number of places per company.

Cancellation:
Cancellations by participants must be made in writing and are free of charge up to 9 days before the event. No processing fee will be charged.

From 9 days before the event, 50% of the fees are due.

The full participation fee is payable from 5 days before the event in case of no-show. A representative of the
Registration is always possible for registered persons.

Cancellation:

If the seminar is cancelled by the organizer, any participation fees already paid will be refunded. No further claims can be made.

Liability:
The organizer is not liable for accidents, damage, loss, or theft of personal belongings and vehicles. The organizer also assumes no liability for damages caused by or through participants.

The entire range is taught, from the correct mill setting to the correct preparation of various standard drinks.
