Status Quo Bio is a 100% Arabica blend that we also recommend for espresso, especially for those who love fruity notes in their coffee. The powerful, harmonious composition consists of a top-quality Ethiopian coffee (direct import, Cueillete cooperative) with fruity, floral nuances and a premium coffee from Peru.

The Status Quo coffee demonstrates its full quality even in a long cup. A well-balanced coffee with a lingering flavor and an unforgettable body. These characteristics are complemented by a perfect cinnamon-colored crema. This blend gets its distinctive, subtly floral flavor from the particularly gentle roasting process.

We give our coffees about 18-22 minutes to develop perfectly at a low temperature in the roaster. One of the results is this truly magnificent blend.

Perfect cinnamon-colored crema, long-lasting flavor, and unforgettable body. Especially well-suited for filter coffee or espresso. (Not suitable for moka pots)

Traditional roasting process in a drum roaster

All coffees at Mondo del Caffè are traditionally roasted using the drum roasting method. This process makes the coffee particularly aromatic, gentle on the stomach, and easy to digest. We roast our coffees in small batches (12–30 kg) at a maximum temperature of 220°C for approximately 18–22 minutes. We cool the coffee with air, not water. For a perfect, intense, and aromatic experience!

Mondo del Caffè – fair trade!

In our search for the world's finest specialty and rare coffees, we travel far beyond our home country. Our unique project coffees come from countries including India, Brazil, Colombia, El Salvador, and Ethiopia. We source our green coffee directly from these and other countries, cutting out intermediaries and paying fair prices to the families who cultivate the plantations (approximately two to three times the current world market price). This allows the families to earn a living from coffee farming. The overall quality also improves, as the farmers are able to invest in the infrastructure of their farms. This results in truly exceptional coffees with character and a story behind them.

Mondo del Caffè – the special coffee experience!

Since 1999, we have been roasting select coffees in our own roastery. There, we ensure the utmost freshness and quality – always with your satisfaction in mind. With exquisite coffee varieties from around the world, we transform your coffee experience into something truly special. We roast only the highest quality green coffees according to our proven method: The still-green coffee beans are roasted at a low temperature in a drum roaster. This allows them to fully develop their unique aromas during the long roasting process – the perfect foundation for exceptional coffee experiences.

Meet the farmers CODECH DeLaSelva Regenwaldprojekt
